Hope Schiller became the 18
th player in program history to reach 1,000 career digs.
Schiller picked up six digs in the match to bring her career total of 1,003, making her the first CSP player since Kasey Williams in 2016 to reach 1,000. Anna Schlaak and Emily McDonough both reached the mark that season as well. In addition to Schiller's work in the back row, the senior also paced the Golden Bears on the night with 12 kills.
As a team, Concordia was forced to grind out the victory as they overcame 10.0 Minnesota State blocks to finish with a .255 hitting percentage and 44 kills. The CSP defense held MSU to .168 and 34 kills on the night as the Golden Bears also added four aces while allowing none.

Sydney Book added an extremely efficient performance with a .615 hitting percentage as she finished with eight kills.
Elizabeth Mohr did a little bit of everything as she assisted on 41 of the team's 44 kills to go along with six digs and three service aces to put up a full stat line.
Tori Hanson also contributed six digs and an ace.
Minnesota State's Morgan Olson matched Schiller's match high with 12 kills as she hit a solid .400 in the loss while Mara Quam led all players with eight digs.
Concordia extended their NSIC regular season winning streak to 14 straight matches as the Golden Bears last loss in conference play came back on Oct. 7, 2017 at Minnesota Duluth. CSP also made it 11 straight wins over Minnesota State as they moved to 29-4 in the all-time series with the Mavericks.
The Golden Bears came out firing to start the match as they put four points in the board before MSU scored their first. The Mavericks shrunk the gap to one a couple of times before Concordia pushed their lead to five at 14-9. Four straight points in favor of Minnesota State a few points later cut it back to one at 17-16, but once again CSP stemmed the tide as they scored five of the next six to regain a comfortable cushion at 23-18. MSU made things interesting as they survived three straight set points, but a Schiller kill closed out a 25-22 set win.
The two teams traded points early in the second set until Concordia rattled off four points in a row to build a 13-8 lead midway through the set. The Golden Bears continued to grow their lead from there as the Golden Bears finished the set on a 5-1 run to take a 2-0 lead in the match with a 25-15 set win in the second.
It was an even start again to begin the third set with seven ties by the 9-9 mark before Minnesota State took a 13-9 lead with four points in a row. The MSU lead hit seven at 18-11 following another 4-0 run, but the Golden Bears managed to claw their way back. The Mavericks still held a six point edge at 21-15, but they managed just one more point the rest of the way as Concordia scored 10 of the final 11 points of the match to complete the sweep with a 25-22 win in the third set.
Concordia remains on the road this weekend as they travel to #18 Wayne State on Friday and Augustana on Saturday. First serve is scheduled for 6 p.m. at WSC and 2 p.m. at Augie.
