COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The Concordia-St. Paul women's basketball team was ranked 10th in latest D2SIDA Central Region Poll, hoping back into the top-ten after receiving votes last week.
Concordia claimed victories over Northern Michigan and Jamestown (N.D.) last weekend. Northern Michigan was ranked as the #24 team in the country last week's D2SIDA national poll.
The Golden Bears were one of three NSIC teams ranked in the poll. Augustana (4th) and Sioux Falls (8th) were also ranked, with Minnesota Crookston and MSU Moorhead receiving votes.
Two representatives from each conference in the Central Regional (including the NSIC, the MIAA, and GAC) voted on the poll. The top-ten was comprised of four teams from the MIAA (including the top three in the poll), three from the NSIC, and three from the GAC.
The Golden Bears will begin conference play with matchup against Minnesota State on Saturday, Dec. 1 at 3:30 p.m. CSP will travel to Mankato to take on the Mavericks on their home court to open NSIC play.
