GREENWOOD, Ind. — College Sports Communicators (CSC) released the 2025-26 Women's Basketball Academic All-AmericaⓇ teams on Wednesday afternoon, with Concordia-St. Paul's Lydia Haack earning Academic All-America First Team honors.
Haack's selection marks the first time in program history that a CSP women's basketball player has been named a First Team Academic All-American. It is also the second career Academic All-America selection for Haack after she earned third team honors last season, becoming just the second Golden Bear to be named an Academic All-American.
With her second career selection, Haack is now the second player in program history to earn multiple Academic All-America honors, joining Katie LaViolette who was named Third Team Academic All-America in 2006-07 and Second Team Academic All-America in 2007-08.
The senior guard is one of four repeat Academic All-American selections on the Division II team. Joining Olivia Reed-Thyne (Colorado Mesa), Lilli Wilken (Alabama-Huntsville) and Mia Kalich (Seton Hill) as a repeat selection.
Haack is one of two Academic All-America selections from the NSIC in 2025-26, along with Minnesota State's Natalie Bremer, who was also named a First Team Academic All-America.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Basketball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
The Division II Academic All-America® program is being financially supported by the NCAA Division II national governance structure to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Division II Academic All-America® program.
