Concordia trimmed the lead to a run when freshman
Eric Fasnacht (Eden Prairie, Minn.) picked up an RBI groundout in the fifth inning, scoring senior
Jared Kramer (Wausau, Wis.).
Freshman left hander
Zach Rengel (Fergus Falls, Minn.) continued a solid start to college pitching, working 4.0 full innings. He allowed three runs on seven hits with three strikeouts. He took the loss, falling to 0-2 with a 2.69 ERA in three starts.
Sophomore
Adam Fredericks (Minnetonka, Minn.) came on in relieft and pitched two perfect innings in the fifth and sixth.
The Golden Bears left the bases loaded in the bottom of sixth inning trailing by a run with two outs.
Jamestown finally got to Fredericks in the seventh, scoring three runs with senior left hander
Patrick Rydeen (Lakeland, Minn.) working out of the jam while allowing one of Fredericks' runners to score.
While Concordia only had two hits, seven others reached on walks and hit by pitch and left seven on base.
