ST. PAUL, Minn. - Concordia-St. Paul (2-0) led by as many as 19 points in the second half en route to a 75-67 win over Waldorf College (3-2) on Saturday night at Gangelhoff Center.

Concordia-St. Paul was led by sophomore forward
Shea Mandli with 16 points, six rebounds and three assists including a powerful first half dunk. In addition to making 4-of-7 from the floor, he also dropped in a three-pointer and made 7-of-8 at the stripe.
Once again, the Golden Bears were efficient at the foul line and defeated the opposition in makes and attempts, hitting 15-of-18 (83.3%) compared to Waldorf's 7-of-14 (50.0%).
Waldorf started strong with the first five points of the night and Concordia didn't take its first lead until just under 14 minutes to play when a
Terez VanPelt layup gave the Golden Bears a 12-11 lead.
The teams traded buckets on the next two possesion and Concordia led the rest of the way.
After trailing 11-7 with 15:08 to play in the half, Concordia opened up a 19-2 run and the lead fluctuated between eight and 19 points for nearly the rest of the contest.
It wasn't until 2:07 to play when Waldorf finally trimmed the margin to six, 71-65, before a
Cole Olstad layup and two free throws from Mandli put the game away.
VanPelt finished with 13 points and four assists in the game. Junior
Cole Olstad was the third Golden Bear in double-figures with 10 points, adding four rebounds, three assists and three steals.
Concordia's bench featured three players that combined to score 26 points as senior
Clay Olstad and sophomore Mike Yanke each scored nine points while junior
Travon Mitchell added eight all in the first half. Olstad and Mitchell combined to hit five three-pointers, with three coming from the elder Olstad.
Yahnke also dominated the boards, pulling down a game-high 11 including four on the offensive end.
Waldorf was led by Jordan Nelson with 14 points and 10 rebounds while Gunsby DeJohnett also scored 14.
Concordia returns to non-conference play next Saturday and Sunday afternoon with 1 p.m. tip-offs against Northwood and Ferris State at McCown Gymnasium on the campus of Winona State. Both opponents are located in Michigan.
