ST. PAUL, Minn. - This Saturday at 1 p.m., Concordia-St. Paul football (3-4 NSIC, 0-3 South) kicks-off at Wayne State's (2-5 NSIC, 1-2 South) Memorial Stadium in Wayne, Neb.
The Golden Bears are aiming to get their record back to .500 with a chance to play for a winning record while the Wildcats are seeking a first home victory.
Concordia has been strong on the road with a 2-1 record away from home while being just a complete pass from being 3-0 on the road. All three road games have been nail-biters as the squad has been steady for four quarters in away games.
Wayne State, meanwhile, has struggled at home, allowing 51 points per game in three home losses. They've allowed 119 points and lost by an average of 41 points in their last two home games and over their last two overall games have allowed 100 points during a two-game skid.
But three weeks ago, it was a strong defensive effort that propelled them to a 10-7 win on the road at Augustana.
