Scsu got a pair of singled in the bottom of the inning but double play turned by cu helped them wiggle out of a mini jam.

the two teams were held scoreless in the fourth as ashley kluever worked out of another jam in the bottom of the fourth. With just one out the huskies had runners on second and third after back to back singles to start the inning. Kluever got scsu to pop up twice to get out of the jam.

after a hitless top of the fifth for cu the huskies tied the game in the bottom half of the inning with a homerun. Cu took the lead back in the bottom of the inning thanks to another error. Larsen reached on the error to start the inning and moved to second on an ewert sac bunt. Following a sami mattson foul out, erin tjornhom singled home larsen. Scsu went down in order in the sixth.

The huskies rallied in the seventh as they got the leadoff batter on via a single. She was however cut down on a fielder's choice moments later. much like game one, game two started quietly as well. Through the first three inning both teams had just three hits with cu claiming all three. It could have been worse as the huskies had the bases loaded with one away but cassye mcmahon got a fly out and fielder's choice to end the threat.

cu's big inning came in the fifth as mcmahon and anderson reached on errors to open up the frame. Following a larsen foul out, ewert cleared the bases with a three run homer to left center. Tjornhom added a single in the inning and advanced to third with two down but the score remained 4-1 in favor of cu after four and half.
