cassie haag (plymouth, minn.) led the way with 11 kills and six blocks in the match.

kayla koenecke (delano, minn) had eight kills and eight digs in the match for concordia. The golden bears had 12 blocks in the match as well.
in the first set concordia had a 8-4 lead before the huskies got back within one at 11-10. With the score 13-12 in favor of cu, the golden bears rattled off six of the next seven points to take a 19-13 lead. The huskies never got back in the set as cu took it 25-18.
another quick start by cu in the second set gave them a 6-1 advantage from the onset. The lead was at eight, 14-6, forcing scsu to call a timeout. Concordia had a ten point lead at 17-7 and kept rolling taking the set 25-17.
the early start of the third set was a back and forth battle with cu holding a 15-13 lead midway through the set. The golden bears went on a roll at that point scoring the last ten of eleven points of the set to take it 25-14. Six scsu attack errors helped give cu the sweep in the third set.
concordia will back in action next weekend as they travel to northern state and u-mary next friday and saturday.
