sioux falls, sd - the concordia university golden bears soccer team, now 3-3-2 played to a tie in two overtimes saturday afternoon in a game with the augustana vikings (3-3-2).

cu scored first with a goal by katie johnson, her fourth of the season, on an assist from arielle stimson. Augustana came back and scored the next two goals taking a 2-1 lead. At 74:01 kari janes scored her third goal of the season to tie the game.

the vikings outshot the golden bears 22 to 14. Augustana had nine shots on goal to four for cu. Concordia university goalkeeper, kaitlin budd had seven saves in the box to lead the cu defense.

the golden bears will be in action again sunday, september 19 at wayne state with a 1:00 start. Cu returns home next weekend for a pair of games. Hosting minnesota state on september 26 and southwest minnesota state on sept. 27. Both games start at 1:00. box score
