the golden bears only real scoring opportunity during regulation came off of a scuffle in front of the st. Cloud net early in the second with shots taken by katie johnson and kate campione.

cu made a serious scoring threat in the first overtime period off of a corner kick. Johnson took a shot at the net that sailed high.
it looked like we were headed to a tie with a minute left when jenn clifford booted in the winning goal for the huskies to end the game.

the golden bears are sitting in eighth place in the conference standings and are now finished with regular season play. They will have to wait until sunday to see how things play out with the rest of the league to see if they secure a spot in post-season play.
