a goal for northern michigan in the opening two minutes of the meeting set the tone for the game, which was dominated by the wildcats. Nmu was successful in limiting concordia's possession time and kept the squad to only three shots in the 90 minutes of play, all three were on goal, however.
the ncaa dii affiliate of the great lakes conference (gliac) rattled off 19 first half shots and 28 total in the game. Concordia's keyton wheelock protected the net with 15 saves, but a barrage of attempts produced three goals. All three were unassisted scores.
