concordia took an early 7-3 lead with 9:05 to play in the first when

calvin simon (r-fr., wr, shakopee, minn.) for a 66 yard touchdown pass. The td strike capped a six play, 80 yard scoring drive that lasted 2:54.
simon had his breakout performance with five receptions for 122 yards and two touchdowns. Goodchild also had a productive day with 305 passing yards and two touchdowns while completing 21-34 with one interception.
tyrone ruffin (jr., wr, plymouth, minn.) had his second-straight 100 yard effort with four receptions for 113 yards and a 48 yard touchdown.
