the mavericks jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the first inning off
mandy turba, but the bears countered with a run of their own in the third inning on
nikki scherr's third home run of the season.
neb. Omaha recaptured the lead with two runs in the top of the fifth. Concordia again answered back with three runs in the bottom of the inning. After singles, by scherr and

amanda yurek hit her second homerun of the season giving the bears a 4-3 lead.
uno's jenifer mcdowell tied the game to lead off the seventh inning with a home run to left field. With the game tied at 4-4, the two teams went to the eighth inning.
concordia got the win when abby brundidge sent her third hit of the game up the middle.
mallory olson advanced brundidge to second and she would score on a rbi single to left by
tiffani rodd.
turba (14-16) earned the win, allowing four runs (one earned) on 11 hits in eight innings with four strikeouts and three walks. The mavericks left 12 runners on base, compared to five for concordia.
the bears scored five runs on 11 hits. Brundidge was 3-4 with a double and a run scored and nikki scherr was 2-3 with two runs and an rbi.
against augustana, concordia jumped out to a 1-0 lead when bjorlin singled to left field and advanced to second on a throwing error. She scored on a rbi double by yurek. The bears would only get one more hit and three base runners in the game.
the vikings put up eight runs on 11 hits off
jenny kaminksi (11-12). She finished with one strikeout and three walks in six innings.
concordia will finish the regular-season on tuesday, when they travel to fayette, iowa to face upper iowa in the last nsic game of the year. The nsic tournament will be may 4-5 in marshall, mn.
