The concordia softball team (23-21, 9-3 nsic) extended its winning streak to five games with a 6-3 win over msu moorhead (24-14, 8-5 sic). They then defeated um crookston 13-4 (1-27, 0-16) in five innings to end the rain-filled weekend.

amanda yurek went 3-4 and came up with a three-run bases clearing hit in the fifth inning to give the bears a 3-2 lead. The dragons would tie the game at 3-3 in the bottom of the fifth inning, but the bears would score three runs in the top of the seventh to get the win.
abby brundidge had a rbi triple in the inning.
the bears scored six runs on eight hits. Brundidge was 2-4 with an rbi, while
nicole tischler was 2-3 and scored two runs.
mandy turba earned her fourth win on the weekend allowing three earned runs on ten hits.

the bears put ten runs on the board in the fourth inning as they sent 13 players to the plate.
anna bjorlin had a two-run single and
mallory olson hit a two-run double to highlight the inning. Bjorlin would finish 3-3 in the game with two runs and two rbi.
m. Olson and
tiffany rodd each went 3-4 with a run and two rbi in the game, while yurek was 2-3 with a double and three runs scored.
concordia finished with 13 runs on a season-high 16 hits.
jenny kaminski earned the win after allowing four earned runs on nine hits over five inning.

amanda yurek went 5-7 on the day with four runs scored and four rbi to move her batting average to .354.
anna bjorlin went 4-5 with a triple and three runs scored on the day. She now has a team-high 48 hits.
