the first half lead grew to as much as 13, but scsu cut the deficit to four, 27-23, after a pair of kayla rengel free throws.
the golden bears wasted no time in pushing the lead back to double-digits, going on a quick 9-2 run before closing out the half ahead by 12, 40-28.
in the first half, concordia outscored the huskies 22-12 in the paint and 11-2 in second chance scoring as they grabbed 28 rebounds in the first 20 minutes. They also dominated off the bench to the tune of a 19-3 margin.

behnke was 6-9 from the floor and 7-10 at the stripe and half of her 10 rebounds were on the offensive glass.
