Concordia (25-2, 14-1 nsic) won 16-14 in the fifth game to earn a hard fought five game (30-26, 28-30, 31-33, 30-26, 16-14) victory over wayne state (16-10, 8-5 nsic) on the road, giving the bears their eleventh straight win, tying their longest win streak of the year.

the bears had 138 digs in the match, while mary slinger tied her career-high with 35 digs for the second time in three games (bemidji state).

emily palkert had her third 25-kill match of the year (western new mexico, minnesota state) in leading a group of five bears in double-digit kills on the night. She finished the night with a .246 average with ten errors in 61 attempts.

kate bennett had a career-high 18 kills on the night hitting .192 in 52 attempts. She added four blocks and five digs. maria steinhagen contributed 17 kills and four blocks for the bears.

whitney meirotto had her 19th double-double of the season with 13 kills and 26 digs, while sadie kessler also had ten kills on the night.

maggie mcnamara had a season-high 75 assists and had a career-high 27 digs. Concordia as a team, the bears hit .160 with 86 kills, while limiting wayne state to 69 kills. Wayne state recorded 21 blocks on the night, compared to just ten for the bears.

the wildcats were led by emily schroeder with 21 kills.
