sadie kessler and emily palkert each tallied 14 kills with only one error as the fourth-ranked bears (22-2, 11-1 nsic) rolled past upper iowa (4-19, 0-12 nsic) in fayette, iowa saturday night.

palkert finished with an impressive .722 hitting percentage with the 14 kills in 18 attempts, while kessler was nearly as impressive with a .591 hitting percentage the 14 kills in 21 attempts.

as a team, the bears hit .343 with 49 kills, 15 errors in 99 attempts, including 15 kills, only two errors (.481) in game three. maggie mcnamara had 43 assists in the match.

maria steinhagen and whitney meierotto each added eight kills and mary slinger had 18 digs as the bears remained the top team in the nsic.
