The golden bears dominated the marauders from the 2:44 mark in the first half to the 9:22 mark in the second half, outscoring them 35-8 as they drained six three's during the span in an 82-50 victory on friday evening at the gangelhoff center. Concordia university improves to 10-2 overall and 4-0 in the northern sun while the university of mary (n.d.) falls to 4-9 and 0-5 in league play.

it was another balanced effort for concordia, who fell behind 8-2 in the first three minutes before sprinting away from u-mary. Senior guard
kyle marxhausen led the way with 19 points on 8-12 shooting including 2-3 from long range and 1-1 at the stripe. The rosemount, minn. Native also collected five rebounds and had a pair of blocks in just 21 minutes of work.

joey peel with 11 points. The senior point guard finished 5-11 from the field and had four assists in just 22 minutes. Redshirt freshman guard
mike cunningham contributed 10 points on 4-6 shooting including 2-3 from downtown. He had four assists and three steals in 16 minutes of playing time off the bench for the bears.

the bears held the marauders to just 30.6% (19-62) shooting including a meager 27.3% (6-22) from behind the arc and u-mary had just eight free throw attempts, converting six.
the golden bears were hot from long range, burying 11 three-pointers at a 45.8% clip in 24 attempts. They also shot a solid 46.4% (32-69) from the field in the victory.
the marauders were led by zach dosch with 10 points while clay ammons added eight points and a team-high six rebounds off the bench.
concordia returns to the floor tomorrow evening in northern sun action when they host northern state at 8 p.m. At the gangelhoff center.
