concordia university (11-2, 5-0 nsic) continued their strong play as they coasted to a 76-58 victory over northern state in front of a season-high 1107 fans at the gangelhoff center on saturday evening.
the bears never trailed and there was just one tie in the contest. Concordia had their first double-digit lead early, 14-4 eight minutes into the contest and the deficit would never be closer than six the rest of the way as concordia used a 50.9% (27-53) to 37.9% (25-66) shooting advantage to dispatch their regional rival.

the golden bears, winners eight of their last nine and three straight, will hit the road next weekend in northern sun action and will take on the top-ranked and defending national champion winona state warriors on friday evening and upper iowa on saturday evening.
