Senior kelsey kyro posted 19 kills and hit a scorching .548 to lead third-ranked concordia university (8-1) past st. Cloud state (2-8) in three games, 30-25, 30-27, 30-19 on tuesday evening at the gangelhoff center.

kyro smashed her 19 kills in just 31 total attacks with two errors while recording three total blocks (one solo) to lead a cu offensive attack that hit .353 for the match, including .531 in the final game.

senior jessica lucia added a double-double with 15 kills and 12 digs. Lucia hit .226 in 31 attempts, adding three total blocks (one solo). Junior monica mcnamara was the only other bear in double-digit kills, hitting .500 with just one error in 18 attacks.

freshman setter maggie mcnamara totaled 56 assists, 20 of them coming in the first game. She supplemented that with seven digs and a pair of service aces. Senior libero megan graham notched 11 digs as cu held a 46-31 edge in digs.
