in the first match of the day against the beavers,
kelsey kyro led four golden bears in double-figure kills with 15 while
jessica lucia (right)
added 14 and seven digs.
maria steinhagen hit 13 kills and
monica mcnamara had 11.
ashley olson missed out by just two kills with eight but added nine digs and hit a .500 attack pct. With just one error in 14 attacks.

tossed up 56 assists and led the cu offensive attack to a .310 hitting pct. While
megan graham led the defense with 15 digs. The concordia defense held the beavers to a mere .087 hitting pct. As they had just 24 team kills with 15 errors in 103 attacks compared to concordia's 63 kills in 126 attacks with 24 errors.
they kept up their strong play into the second match as they outhit the dragons .351 to .048 including a strong third game finish as they had 22 kills in 40 attacks with four errors.
three bears reached double-figures in the second match, led by
kelsey kyro's (left) 13. Kyro also hit a match-high .500 as she smashed her 13 kills in 24 chances with just one error while recording three total blocks (one solo).
monica mcnamara (right) and
jessica lucia each had 10 kills. Mcnamara hit a solid .429 while lucia hit .350 with nine digs.
maria steinhagen and
ashley olson each had eight kills with just one error, hitting .412 apiece in 17 attempts. Olson also notched 12 digs.
maggie mcnamara served up 45 assists and added nine digs while
megan graham (left)again paced the defense with 15 digs to go with three aces.
