sam voeller got the bears on the baord in the 16th minute on a goal that got past the bsu goalie on a corner kick by
kyla rentch. It was voeller's second goal of the season and rentch's first career assists at concordia.
hillary johnson scored her team-leading sixth goal of the season in the 36th minute on a 20-yard shot that snuck in the top corner of the goal. The assists went to
nikki hertel and
rachel vitense. It was hertel's first career assist and the ninth of the season for vitense. She has assists on nine of the bears 13 goals this season.
bemidji state got on the board in the 85th minute on a goal by jamie ford with assists to lauren olivares and christina hicks.
hannah turgerson picked up her third win on the season stopping seven shots. The bears were outshot 17-9, and 8-6 on goal.
concordia will travel to northern state next saturday for another nsic matchup.
