The concordia soccer team won its third straight game as bears defeated northern state 1-0 in aberdeen. hillary johnson scored her team-leading seventh goal of the season and third straght game-winnner in the 60th minute on a 30-yard shot over the wolves goalie's head.

the bears managed only three shots, all on goal, compared to 15 shots and seven on goal for northern state. Concordia goalkeeper hannah turgerson got her fourth win and third shutout on the season with seven saves in the game.

the bears improve to 5-7-1 (3-0 nsic) while northern state falls to 8-4 (3-2 nsic). Concordia will be in action on sunday at the university of mary in the first matchup of the two schools since the mauraders joined the nsic.
