The third-ranked concordia volleyball team got its second straight sweep over a ranked nsic oppenent as they defeated #25 wayne state 30-27, 30-28, 30-18 on the road.

jessica lucia led the bears with 21 kills and a .400 hitting percentage, while kelsey kyro added 11 kills and five blocks. monica mcnamara added eight kills and maria steinhagen had seven.

the bears had 87 digs, with ashley olson recording 22 and megan graham added 20. maggie mcnamara had 46 assists and continues to lead the ncaa in assists per game with 15.22 apg.

concordia hit .252 for the game with 50 kills, while wayne state had 45 kills and a .149 hitting percentage. With the win, csp is now 16-1 (7-0 in the nsic).

the bears will face their third straight ranked team on tuesday, sept. 26 when they travel to #6 minnesota-duluth.
