Concordia senior jessica lucia (left) hit a blazing .767 in leading the #3 bears to a 3-0 road win at #24 southwest minnesota state. Lucia had 23 kills, with no errors in 30 attempts as cu won 32-30, 30-17, 30-24 to improve to 15-1 (6-0 nsic).

the bears committed only nine errors in the match and hit .453 in three games. They had 22 kills, 3 errors and a .528 in game one as the bears recorded a 32-30 win. In game two, the bears improved to hit .568 as they had 19 kills with only two errors. Game three saw the bears tally 16 kills, 4 errors and a .360 hitting percentage.

kelsey kyro (right) had 11 kills and monica mcnamara added nine. maggie mcnamara recorded a double-double with 45 assists and a team-high 16 digs. megan graham and mary slinger each added 11 digs.

the bears held southwest minnesota state to a .220 hitting percentage. As a team the bears had seven team blocks. Lucia had four block assists and maria steinhagen had a block solo and four block assists.

the concordia team will travel to #25 wayne state on saturday.
