mandy turba went five innings, striking out seven to improve to 15-3 on the season. Turba allowed just five hits and one walk and faced only 19 batters before the bears posted the win.
senior second baseman
kelly schwietz went 2-3 with two runs and a three run home run from the leadoff spot. Freshman shortstop
natalie mast went 2-3 with a run and a two-run double out of the nine spot as the bears brought their bats from top-to-bottom against the wolves.

yurek and schwietz continued to shine in game two against msu moorhead as the duo each posted back-to-back multi-hit performances. Yurke went 2-3 with a solo home run to right center. She finished with two runs and two rbi. Schweitz went 2-4 with an rbi.
senior shortstop
tracie enzler returned to the leadoff spot with a 2-4 performance including a double, an rbi and a run. Smith also drilled a double and had a pair of rbi.
senior starter
kristen schmidt turned in another fine performance, recording a four-hit shutout victory, allowing just one walk. Schmidt struck out four and improves to 16-8.
concordia returns to the diamond tomorrow for day two of the crossover when they take on bemidji state and minnesota-crookston at noon and 4 p.m., respectively
