The concordia softball team earned a 3-1 win over wheeling jesuit and 14-2 victory against dubuque in five innings in fort myers, florida. The bears improve to 7-3 on the season with the wins.

schmidt's bat was showcased in the game with dubuque, as she hit two home runs. vanessa dufresne (right) also hits her second career-home run, while also recording a triple in the win. Sophmore laura tischler also had her first three-hit game in a concordia uniform. mandy turba got her fourth win with nine strikeouts.

the bears are off tomorrow, but will return to action on march 2, when they will face northwood (9:00) and wheeling jesuit (1:00).
