Cu loses to northwood, downs wheeling jesuit

The concordia softball team suffered a 2-1 loss to northwood university thursday morning, but rallied for a 6-0 win over wheeling jesuit in the afternoon.

tracie enzler had a triple and scored the bears only run against northwood. kristen schmidt took the loss and falls to 3-4 on the year.

against wheeling jesuit, mandy turba (right) improved to 5-0 on the season with a 6-0 win, allowing five hits. kelly schwietz and kristin linell each had two-run home runs in the game.

the bears are now 8-4 on the year and will play their final games of the florida spring trip tomorrow when they face grand valley state and saginaw valley state at the florida gulf coast tournament.
