No. 6 Concordia University (1-1) took no. 2 Truman State to five games but lost a thriller 18-16 Friday night in Duluth. The Bears lost all three games by two points, dropping the first game 30-28 and the second 31-29, before rebounding to win the third and fourth games 30-14 and 30-24.

Jessica Lucia recorded a triple-double with 23 kills, 19 digs, and ten blocks.
Val Olson had 16 kills, while
Ashley Olson had a double-double with 15 kills and 13 digs.
Kelsey Kyro had 15 kills and nine blocks.
Cailin Terhaar tallied 68 assists, 14 digs, three kills, and three blocks.
As a team, CU dominated in statistics, with 78 kills, a .240 hitting percentage, 101 digs, and 18 team blocks, while Truman State had 69 kills, a .158 hitting percentage, 68 digs, and five team blocks.
The Bears will continue play at the Minnesota Duluth Tournament on Saturday when they will face St. Edward's (Texas) at 12:30 and Cal State San Bernardino at 5:30.
