Brian Jamros scored a season-high 28 points and was six for six late in the game from the free-throw line to seal the 70-63 victory over MSU Moorhead.
Jamros was 8 of 15 from the field, hitting four three-pointers and eight of nine free throws while also adding four rebounds. Justin Vandenberg had 17 points and six rebounds, and Kyle Marxhausen chipped in with 11 points and dished out seven assists.
MSU Moorhead led 63-61 with just under three minutes remaining in the game, but the Golden Bears scored the last nine points of the game, eight from Jamros alone, to close out the win.
Concordia returns to the road for the last time this season when they head to Wayne, Nebraska to take on Wayne State Friday night and then to Marshall, Minn. for a game against Southwest Minnesota State on Saturday. Tip-off for both games is scheduled for 8:00 pm.
