Nakia Carlisle had 13 in the loss.
The Bears trailed by only four at the break at 35-31 and tied the score at 35 at 18:40 in the second half. The Bears would never take the lead in the game, but they stayed within distance. They cut a eight-point lead to two at 11:48, but that would be the closest that Concordia would get.
The Bears were hurt by turnovers, as they committed 25 in the game, resulting in 32 Colorado State points. Concordia shot 47.2% from the field, making 25-53 and 14-20 (70.0%) from the free throw line, while Colorado State shot 29-66 (43.9%) from the field and 22-27 (81.5%) from the line.
Concordia falls to 1-2 on the season and will host Northwest Missouri State on Sat. Nov. 26th at 4:00 in the Gangelhoff Center.
