The Northern State defense held the Bears to just two shots on goal as the Wolves defeated Concordia 1-0 in NSIC action in Aberdeen, S.D. With the loss, the Bears fall to 3-9-1 (2-5-1 NSIC).
Kara Gamboni stopped four shots, but Northern State's Liz Malatesta was able to get a shot past Gamboni in the 24th minute to give the Wolves all they would need to secure the victory.
The Bears were outshot 17-9 for the game but only 5-2 in shots on goal.
