#4 Concordia University (14-1, 4-0) extended their winning streak to eight matches in their 3-0 sweep (30-26, 30-28, 30-18) over Wayne State College (9-8, 2-2 NSIC) Saturday afternoon at the Gangelhoff Center. Junior Valerie Olson led the Bears with 19 kills in 33 total attacks with a hitting percentage of .455.

The Wildcats threatened the Bears' consecutive games streak in each of the first two games of the match, but CSP prevailed 3-0 in games to push the streak to 22 straight games. They have now won seven consecutive matches 3-0. WSC tied game 2 at 27, but the Bears rallied with two straight points to give Concordia a 29-27 edge before winning the game 30-28. In game 3, the Bears hit .480 as a team as they routed the Wildcats 30-18 to finish off the sweep.

Junior setter Cailin Terhaar recorded 40 assists, while three Bears had double-digit digs. Sophomore Megan Graham had 12; sophomore Jessica Lucia had 11; and sophomore Ashley Olson had 10.
