#4 Bears down #21 Dragons 3-0

The #4 Concordia University Golden Bears defeated #21 MSU Moorhead in three games (30-21, 36-34, 30-23) Friday night in Moorhead. Val Olson led the Bears with 17 kills and a .556 hitting percentage, while Joy Wubben added 16 kills and seven blocks.

Tia Lindberg added 11 kills and eight blocks in the win. For the game, Concordia hit .25 with 58 kills and limited MSUM to 42 kills and a .151 hitting percentage. CSP had four players with 10-plus digs, led by Jessica Lucia's 14. Concordia had 2 block solos and 21 block assists. Cailin Terhaar had 46 assists in the game.

Concordia improves to 15-1 (3-0 NSIC) and will face Northern State on Oct. 3 in Aberdeen, S.D.
