Bears fall to MSU Mankato 4-0

The MSU Maverick defense had Concordia on their heels all afternoon as they defeated the bears 4-0 in Mankato. Vanessa Feltes scored twice for MSU Mankato in the first 21 minutes, and CSP was outshot 22-1 in the first half.

Concordia only managed two shots on net in the game, while the MSU offense continued its barrage on the Concordia goal in the second half with 51 shots for the game and 20 on net. MSU Mankato got second half goals from Natalie Mangold and Jeanea Luedtke.

Concordia goalie Kara Gamboni had 16 saves in the game for CSP. The Bears return home next Saturday as they play host to St. Cloud State at 1:00 at Concordia Field.
