The Bears cruised to a 96-53 win over Northwestern College in Roseville behind the hot shooting of senior Kayla Christensen. Christensen shot 9-11 from the field, including 4-6 from three point range to score a came-high 22 points in 14 minutes of play.
The Bears also set a new school record with 27 steals in the game, led by Nakia Carlisle and Desirae Jones' five apiece. Carlisle also scored a career-high as a Bear with 21 points. Jennifer Pozzani had 13 points, seven assists and four steals in the win.
In all, the Bears had eleven players score and made 38-85 (44%) from the field and 13-16 (81%) from the free throw line. Concordia also outrebounded Northwestern 40-33.
With the win, Concordia improves to 7-2 on the season and will now take a break for Christmas. Their next action will be Dec. 28-29 at the Augustana tournament.
