Josh Rosenthal

Josh Rosenthal joined the Golden Bear coaching staff prior to the 2018 season and serves as the program's director of football operations and wide receivers coach. Rosenthal is responsible for player recruitment in the south metro.

It's his second stint as an assistant in the program, also helping as an offensive line and special teams assistant in 2013.

Prior to joining his alma mater's coaching staff, Rosenthal worked across town at the Division III level with the University of St. Thomas for four seasons (2014-17) where he coached wide receivers as well as the UST specialists on the kicking game.

As a college player for three seasons he was the Golden Bears' long snapper for an all-conference kicker and punter. In his senior year in 2010 he helped Concordia reach the Mineral Water Bowl. He received Capital One Academic All-District senior year as a double major in physical education and health education.

The Bloomington native competed in wrestling and football at Jefferson High School and was a member of the 2004 Minnesota National Team for Greco Roman Wrestling.

Josh and his wife Amy live in Savage, Minnesota with their daughter, Perry.
