Troy Shoberg

Troy Shoberg is entering his 11th year with Concordia University in 2021-22 as the assistant high jump and strength and conditioning coach for the track & field program. 

Prior to coaching at Concordia, he spent three years as an assistant coach at Roseville High School working with the high jumpers. 

Shoberg graduated from Concordia with a B.A. in kinesiology in 2007.  He competed as a member of the Concordia track & field team for two years in the high jump, shot put, and discus.  While at Concordia, he received all-conference honors in the high jump three times. 

He was also an all-state and all-conference high jump athlete at Forest Lake High School.  Shoberg has a personal best of 6’8 ¾” and still holds the record at Forest Lake High School in the high jump.

Shoberg is an ACE (American Council on Exercise) certified personal trainer.  He is the fitness supervisor at the YWCA in St. Paul. He's currently completing a master's degree in exercise science at Concordia.
