Tom Kleczewski has coached youth soccer in Minnesota for 15 years at the club, high school and college levels. He begins his 13th year on the Golden Bear staff as goalkeeper coach in 2024. 

For the previous eight seasons, he worked as an assistant coach with the University of St. Thomas men's team, while serving as the head coach of the Academy of Holy Angels varsity team. Tom has worked as a staff coach for Region 2 Olympic Development Program teams and for Minnesota & Rhode Island state teams. He was also on staff as a goalkeeper trainer for the Minnesota Stars' inaugural season in the NASL in 2010.

As a player, Kleczewski won numerous State Cup championships in Minnesota before attending the University of Rhode Island and competing in the Atlantic-10 Conference. He finished his college career at Macalester College where he earned a degree in sociology.

He resides in Minneapolis with his wife, Jessica.
