Concordia University St. Paul Athletics

Preston Kern joined Concordia-St. Paul in September of 2025 as the Director of Marketing, Gameday Presentation and Community Engagement after serving as the Director of Sales and Ticketing for the Sioux Falls Canaries. 

Kern, a native of Somerset, Wis. earned his bachelor's degree in Sports Management from Minnesota State in the spring of 2021 before heading to Sioux Falls. 

With the Canaries, Kern saw multiple roles including Sales Executive and Sales Manager before being named the Director of Sales and Ticketing in 2023. 

Kern and his wife, Hannah, reside in Somerset and are expecting their first child this June.
