A native of Plymouth, Minnesota, Connor Olson brings his experience in Major League Baseball to Concordia’s staff, joining the Golden Bear dugout for the 2025 season.

After graduating from Concordia in 2018, Olson spent one season with the St. Paul Saints before accepting the role of bullpen catcher for the Minnesota Twins. He has spent six years on the staff of the Minnesota Twins working with pitchers and catchers, and has been a part of three American League Central Division Championships. In his free time, he goes back to the program he grew up playing for, coaching college bound athletes at the Blizzard Baseball Academy.

As a four-year starter at catcher and designated hitter at Concordia, Olson hit .319 with 214 hits, 48 doubles, 26 home-runs, 129 runs scored, 129 runs batted in, a .993 fielding percentage - all ranking in the top-10 of CSP's career record books. He also set and still holds the single season record for doubles with 21. He is a three-time NSIC All-Academic selection, was named All-NSIC First Team an NSIC Gold Glove catcher.

Connor and his wife Carly, who played soccer for the Golden Bears, reside in Maple Grove, Minnesota with their dog Hoover.
