CJ Wrzesien joined the Concordia-St. Paul Athletic Department in August of 2025 as a Sports Information Graduate Assistant. He is the primary media contact for cross country, men's and women's golf, women's basketball and softball.
Wrzesien, a native of Shakopee, Minnesota, graduated from Bethel University with a bachelor's degree in organizational communication and a minor in journalism.
While at Bethel, he worked as a Student Athletic Communication Assistant, his duties included keeping statistics and writing recaps for Bethel's baseball, basketball, volleyball and soccer teams.
He also worked as a sports reporter for Bethel's student newspaper the Clarion, where he covered various Royals football and hockey games.
He is currently persuing a master's degree in sports management at Concordia.
