Josh Cogdill joined the CSP track & field coaching staff for the 2022-23 season and brings multiple years of high school coaching to the CSP staff, working with hurdles and high jump.
The four-time Mountain West Conference Champion returned to the sport in 2021, placing eighth at the 2022 USATF Indoor Championships in the heptathlon and 10th in the 2022 USATF Outdoor Championships in the decathlon. He was a three-time conference champion in the decathlon at Colorado State (2015-17) and a one-time conference champion in the heptathlon (2017), earning NCAA Division I All-America honors for his performance in the decathlon.
Cogdill is the only athlete in Mountain West Conference history to win three-straight decathlon titles and was named CSU's Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year in 2017.
He earned his degree in computer engineering and is a software engineer outside of his CSP coaching and USATF training.
