Ashley Ellis-Milan 2016-17

Ashley Ellis-Milan

Ashley Ellis-Milan enters her fourth season at Concordia, working in her second year as the program's top assistant in the 2017-18 season, after spending her first two years as a graduate assistant.

She's no stranger to campus as a St. Paul Central High School graduate before continuing her playing career just a few miles away at the University of Minnesota.

As a Golden Gopher, she put up 20 career double-doubles and finished as the program's fifth leading rebounder with 860 in her career (2006-10). A team captain and MVP, Ellis-Milan started 117 consecutive games, the second most in team history. She currently ranks 14th on the career list in scoring (1,281), averaging 10.1 points per game over her career. She was a two-time All-Big Ten selection, earning honorable mention as a sophomore and third team as a junior.

After her career in the maroon and gold, she played professionally in Germany, Greece and a stint with the Minnesota Lynx.

She has strong basketball bloodlines, as the younger cousin to Lisa & Roxanne Lissimore, who won MSHSL State Championships in 1976 and 1979, respectively.

Ashley graduated from Minnesota with a degree in education and is pursuing a master's in educational leadership at Concordia.
