Allison Meadows joined the Concordia athletics administration team in January, 2019 as Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance while also assuming the role as Senior Woman Administrator.

“Allison comes to us with many years of experience, both in compliance and in the SWA role,” said McAthie. “Her expertise and commitment to the student-athlete experience make her an excellent addition to our administrative team and we’re excited for her to join us.”

She joins Concordia from across the river at North Central University in Minneapolis, an NCAA Division III institution and member of CSP’s former conference, the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) prior to Concordia’s transition to Division II in 1999.

A Pacific Northwest native, she has spent her entire career at her alma mater including the previous 10 years as NCU’s associate athletic director where she held the Senior Woman Administrator role and was compliance officer for the Rams.

“I am thrilled to join the thriving athletics department at Concordia. The university provides an outstanding small college experience through the channel of a Christian environment, all while fielding a nationally competitive athletics program in one of the elite Division II conferences in the country,” said Meadows. “The opportunity to come on board during a time of growth and expansion excites and motivates me as I work to support coaches and develop Golden Bear student-athletes.”

She concluded, “A special thanks to Regan and Lunch (McKenzie) for giving me and my family the opportunity to join the Concordia family.”

In her career at NCU, Meadows accumulated a decade of head coaching experience between the soccer (2011-14) and softball (2010-14 & 2016-18) programs – familiar turf for the former two-sport athlete as she competed for the Rams on each team while earning a degree in pastoral ministry with a minor in business administration in 2006.

Her professional career began at NCU immediately after earning her degree, starting as prospective student coordinator in 2006 before becoming special programs coordinator in 2008. She served in NCU’s athletic department starting in 2009.

As associate A.D. for NCU, Meadows was also the Title IX Investigator and Adjudicator as athletics representative and was a budget manager in charge of all athletics-related budget lines and credit cards.

In leadership roles, she served as chair of the UMAC SWA committee, was a member of the UMAC executive committee and was Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) advisor.

Meadows and her husband, Trey, reside in Minneapolis with their son, Quade and are avid soccer fans.
