Heather Miller-Koch enters her third season with Concordia's track & field coaching staff, working with the multi event athletes (Heptathlon/Decathlon).
Miller-Koch is still currently training as one of the top athletes in the heptathlon in the country after graduating with a BSN degree from St. Cloud State in 2010. Prior to coming to Concordia, Miller-Koch put her degree to work in New York City where she worked as an operating room nurse at Hospital for Special Surgery in Manhattan while continuing to train with Central Park Track Club. She continues to work as an operating room nurse at United Hospital in St. Paul.
As a Division II student-athlete, Miller-Koch was a 10-time All-American (4x in triple jump, 3x in long jump, 2x heptathlon, 1x pentathlon), a two-time USTFCCCA Central Region Field Athlete of the Year, a USTFCCCA National Field Athlete of the Year (indoor 2010), and a Division II National Champion in the pentathlon.

Her outstanding performance on the track has continued to ascend following her career with the Huskies as she placed ninth in the heptathlon at the 2012 USA Olympic Trails and is a three-time member of team USA at the Thorpe Cup (2012, 13, 14). She placed sixth in the pentathlon at the 2013 USA Indoor Championships, fifth in the heptathlon in the 2013 USA Outdoor Championships and fourth in the heptathlon in the 2014 USA Outdoor Championships.
