Rich White

Rich White was hired as head strength & conditioning coach in February of 2016 after serving as graduate assistant strength & conditioning coach since June of 2014.

A 2009 graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College with a bachelor’s in exercise xcience and coaching, White came to Concordia from Northern Lights Junior Volleyball Club where he served as a strength and conditioning coordinator for two seasons.

Prior to joining the Northern Lights staff in 2012, Rich spent one season with the Kansas City Royals organization as an assistant strength and conditioning coach.

In 2011, Rich also spent time at the National Strength and Conditioning Association as an intern in their sports performance center where he worked with Colorado College Hockey, University of Colorado at Colorado Springs Volleyball, and a wide variety of tactical and Olympic athletes.

His professional resume also includes stints with Prior Lake High School and Burnsville High Schools (Minn.), the University of Nebraska-Omaha, Explosive Edge Athletics (Minn.), as well as current writing responsibilities with prepvolleyball.com and performancecondition.com and program consultant with Surface Volleyball Club (Minn.).

Along with his strength and conditioning duties at Concordia, Rich will be pursuing his master’s degree in sport management. He has been a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS) since 2010 through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and a certified sports performance coach since 2009 through USA Weightlifting.
