Kehinde Olafeso enters his first season on the Concordia-St. Paul men's coaching staff in the 2022-23 season.
One of the top players in Golden Bear history on the court, Olafeso returns to CSP 10 years after the completion of his illustrious playing career. The program's all-time leader in career offensive rebounds per game (3.3), he ranked inside the top-10 program history with 14.0 points, 6.3 rebounds and 32.4 minutes per game in his two years on campus. In his first season after transferring from Minneapolis Community and Technical College, he tallied 12.0 points and 7.1 boards per night while helping the team to a 16-11 record and fourth place finish in the NSIC. In year two, he shot an incredible 63.0% (160-254) from the field, a single-season school record, while putting up 16.0 points per game.Â
Olafeso got his coaching career started in 2014 as an assistant coach at Harding High School before taking on head coaching duties in 2019. He works as a safety and school support liaison and a behavior intervention program supervisor for St. Paul Youth Services.
