Brady Larson

Brady Larson joined the Concordia-St. Paul men's basketball staff in the summer of 2013 as the program's top assistant coach with over a decade of college basketball coaching experience.

In the two years before coming to Concordia, he had been working in the corporate sales in the Twin Cities after serving the previous two years as the top assistant at Concordia College in Moorhead, Minn. (2008-10).

Larson earned his bachelor's degree in education from the University of North Dakota in 2000 while serving as a two-year captain and leading UND to an NCAA Tournament second round appearance in his senior season.

The 1995 St. Francis High School graduate was a Mr. Basketball finalist as a senior prep. Following his college career, Larson returned to his high school stomping grounds as an assistant coach.

He returned to the now-defunct North Central Conference (NCC) with a graduate assistant coaching position at current NSIC-member Minnesota State University, Mankato from 2001-03 where Kelly Boe was also working as an assistant.

After leaving Minnesota State upon the completion of his graduate assistant position, Larson stayed in the Midwest at the Division II level with a top assistant coaching position at Lake Superior State (Mich.) in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC). He spent three seasons there (2003-06) and recruited many of the players that helped the team advance to the 2009 NCAA Tournament - the school's first appearance since 1996.

He is the son of Ron Larson, a Minnesota Basketball Coaches Association Hall of Fame selection. His brother, Rory, is an assistant coach at Anoka Ramsey Community College. His other brother, Jay, is an associate athletic director at San Diego State University.
