Adrian Perryman

Adrian Perryman continues his fifth year an assistant track & field coach at Concordia in 2013-14. He works primarily with the sprinters on the Golden Bears squad, bringing over 20 years of track & field experience to the program.

Perryman graduated from Concordia with a B.A. in communication studies in 2007. He works full-time at Concordia as assistant director of admissions, and also completed his master's in strategic communication management.

He works with students on and off the track and does his best to help students achieve success on campus and beyond. His main goal is always graduation for each student-athlete.

He graduated from St. Paul Central High School where he was a five year letter winner in track & field and three year letter winner in football. He qualified for State his 8th grade and freshman years and is still in the top-10 for freshman performances in the 200m dash. During his time at Central he was a St. Paul City Conference champion in multiple individual events, relays and team conference championships.

After graduating from Central he walked down the street to Concordia University where he was a member of the track & field team, the football team and various other clubs and organizations. He competed as a member of the track & field team for four years as a sprinter, serving as a captain his senior year.  While at Concordia, he received multiple All-NSIC honors during the indoor and outdoor seasons in individual events as well as relays. Perryman also broke multiple team records in his time and still holds the record in the 55 meter dash and sprint medley R=relay and is the only male in NSIC history to ever 3-peat in the 55 meter dash (as of fall, 2013).

A native of St. Paul, Perryman is married to Concordia track alum Sarah (Deutsch) Perryman and lives nearby in the Midway neighborhood where they raise their two cats, Simi and OC.
